What is the difference between Premium & Standard Delivery Texts?
Premium Delivery messages are sent from our short code* (32075) which is directly connected to the major cell phone carriers and has priority over standard text messages. Premium Text gives you the ability to reach or communicate with customers instantly via a keyword!
Standard Delivery messages are sent using SMTP technology, the same technology used to send emails. Standard messaging is dependant upon factors such as carrier server speed, web traffic, wireless carriers' network delays / downtime, cell site malfunctions, and SPAM filters. These factors can lead to delays and/or dropped messages and causes standard messages to be less reliable than Premium Text Delivery messages. While Standard messaging can be unpredictable at times we provide this service as a cost saving measure to our clients.
Premium Text messages are used to provide time sensitive mission critical messaging that is usually associated with key word marketing and our short code.
We currently offer premium texting at $.05 per outbound text. Unlimited standard texting is free.
*Some smaller carriers may not offer Premium Text service.(Example; Metro PCS)
